It's normally equally satisfying and annoying (because I have to spend money on a replacement!) when I finish a skincare product but in the case of these empties, I'm just plain sad that I can't repurchase most of them! Keep on reading for my thoughts on each product 😊.
Drunk Elephant - Umbre Tinte Physical Daily Defense SPF 30
I have spoken about this SPF quite a bit since I got it in New York - I love it! It is a thick, grainy cream but once I've rubbed it in, it has the perfect tint for my skin tone and is a brilliant base for every day. I find that SPF can be quite drying but this one isn't at all. I have just been wearing this with a little bit of concealer most days. I can't wait for Drunk Elephant to come to the UK, I want to try all of the products!
The Ordinary - AHA 30% BHA 2% Peeling Solution
I have already repurchased this product because I can't be without it! I use it as a weekly exfoliating mask (normally when my boyfriend is out so the blood red face doesn't terrify him) for about 20 minutes and I'm always left with super soft, smooth, bright skin. It's so affordable and I can't recommend it enough if you are already experienced with using acids.
belif - The True Cream Moisturising Bomb
I also picked this up when I was in New York and at first I thought it was a nice moisturiser but nothing particularly special. However, since I finished it earlier this week, I have found myself really missing it in comparison to my other moisturisers. It is really hydrating but not heavy at all and it smells lovely. Unfortunately nowhere in the UK sells it so it will have to wait until my next trip to the US...
Indie Lee - Lotion CoQ-10
I wanted a change from the Liz Earle toner I have been using for years and I really like everything about Indie Lee's brand so I wanted to try the CoQ-10 Lotion. I loved this - it is very refreshing, provides antioxidant protection and smells gorgeous. However, because I enjoyed using it so much, I used the whole bottle in three weeks! At £30 for 118ml, I am going to buy this next time I fancy a treat but I am going to have to go back to my beloved Liz Earle toner, £15.50 for 200ml, for the time being.
